Reed

The Challenge

Reed had an interesting challenge to overcome in their workspace. The existing space was workable, but the space wasn’t being used effectively and there was a walk-through space that was dark and uninviting. Their communal areas needed upgrading and collaborative, flexible working was something they needed to incorporate.

Their staff capacity needed increasing, as well as more inter-departmental interaction between the staff.

Our Solution

Rhino provided initial designs that met their requirements within their target budget, securing the partnership and forging a path for a great fitout journey.

Refurbishment of key areas on various floors – in particular the lower ground floor, which was lacking in natural light. This has now been turned into a fantastic outdoors-in design, formed around a ‘hive’ concept to bring teams together to gather and utilise what used to be an unattractive space to work.

Multi-use spaces and zones can now facilitate flexible activity-based working and support the workforce of the future.
